Bookkeeping

I nuked some links to dead restaurant sites, blogs with no posts in like 6 months, blogs that are now locked down or dead, &c. If your site becomes active again, let me know.

One reason I was doing that is I'd like to improve load times for pages on my blog. Does it seem slow to anyone else? I'm actually paying Typepad to publish this, so I want to get my money's worth. :)

doesn't see slow to me, but if you want to think about moving to another platform, i'd be happy to help (for free, since i read your blog all the time!)

Clay: Thanks. I can probably swing it myself if I ever move, but I'm lazy. :) I really should blog more, too. ;)

You Think *You* Have It Bad I'm eating in a place in Savannah, Georgia where the kitchen is on the first floor and the walk-in cooler is on the second. Any suggestions on where to eat (we are *not* going to Paula Deen's)?

Kinda Bacony In Any Case Ok, so it doesn't look much like Kevin Bacon, and it's made of "bacon" bits that probably aren't bacon, but in any case, I present the head of Kevin Bacon made out of bacon.
