I can't imagine anyone reading this blog hasn't seen this before, but... well, I got a laugh out of it yet again:
Edit: The transcript.
This always cracks me up. Too bad SNL isn't always this funny.

I made my wife a devil's food cake last night, and in the process made way too much ganache. It was basically a whole 12 oz bag of semi-sweet Ghirardelli's and a stick of butter melted in a double boiler. The cake was good, but the four ounces of ganache left to chill in the mixing bowl was better. I was thinking the next time I made this I would add salted roasted peanuts to make a kind of upscale Mr.Goodbar.
Am I courting myocardial infarction, or worse, sudden gangrenous loss of my extremities?

coozledad -- Yeah, but isn't that the way you'd want to go? :) It's hard for me to stay out of any extra ganache if I happen to have any lying around. Besides, ganache is what chocolate truffles are made of, so it's not like people don't already pop pieces of it into their mouths.
