Aide-mémoire

Kroger sells a store-brand split bun that's bigger than a hot dog bun, but smaller than a hoagie-type roll.  It's for things like bratwurst (not that I'd let the absence of a particular-sized roll keep me from eating a brat).

If I remember it right, it was also a great size for BIG hot dogs which never seem to fit well into a regular hot dog bun (which are frequently too flimsy and split completely when packed with a great big dog).
