I moved into a new place about a year ago -- I just found out the lowest the oven will go is 170° F. Lame! WTF? How am I supposed to use it to melt chocolate, or hold warm bread for dinner, or dry meat for jerky? I bet the company that made it figured they didn't want anyone trying to cook a roast at 100° and maybe kill themselves. Lame! It's one of those stoves with a flat sealed glass rangetop. The pots spin around on it if they're slightly convex on the bottom. If they get water under them they pop and dance around. And even on high, the electric burners cycle on and off. LAME!
