Wow -- we need more commercials like this on tv:
These folks make the Fruit of the Loom guys look like a bunch of pikers. Don't blame me when you become totally hooked on the jingle. Make sure you watch the Xmas version at the end (there are 4 commercials altogether).
I guess in one sense these commercials are like the pictures of, say, happy pigs at barbecue places, about to be eaten. I can only say that the "Parmigiano Reggiano" being used must be really, really good. :)
Any of my Gentle Readers out there speak Italian?

Edit: Varmint's got a translation of the lyrics, plus a link to a version of the original song.
Edit 2: Varmint also pointed out that the hits just keep on rolling: there are ancillary works like a children's/fan effort, a rehearsal clip, and (I kid you not) a "Making Of" video. :)
Okay, those are cute!
I watch the commercial and all I can think is yum. It's your fault I only have parmesian-reggiano in my refrigerator right now as my parmesian choice. Shame on you for addicting me to it like a two-bit crack whore reduced to hussling for some cheeeeese.

Just had a thought: I wonder if the disembodied hand grating the cheese is the same one that held the Enterprise in the Star Trek episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?"

Wow. It's like a combination of Fruit of the Loom with the Happy Morning video

Pasta, I think.

Yeah, I think they're pasta too, but it took me a second. I guess they're giant ditalini. :) The flying farfalle in the third commercial has cracked me up like 20 times now.

The striking key change certainly whets my appetite.

G: I think it's to let us know that commercial is a "Christmas Special." :)
