... and while I'm on the matter of secret, underground things...
The first rule of Eat@Joe's! is - you do not talk about who "Joe" is.
The second rule of Eat@Joe's! is - you DO NOT talk about who "Joe" is.
Third rule of Eat@Joe's!: someone yells "Eat," sit down, pick up a fork, eat.
Fourth rule: only one restaurant review a year.
Fifth rule: one controversy at a time, folks.
Sixth rule: no webcam, no portraits.
Seventh rule: posts and comments will go on as long as they have to.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Eat@Joe's!, you have to talk.

Wait, if we're doing Fight Club here, do we all get to slug at each other as well?

Do we get to make soap from human fat?
Posted by: durhamfood | 24 October 2007 at 10:07 PM
K: I think we get to do that at Facebook.
DF: I've been saving a batch of chicken fat for like a year and a half intending to make soap. The first time I ever did it, I used lard and vegetable oil. This time, if I ever get off my ass, I'll use olive oil with the chicken, and put in lemon peel and other lemony junk. I'm going to call it: Lemon Chicken. :) Human fat -- well, I'd feel like I had to ask where it came from. Although I guess if I liposuctioned myself and used that, it would be ok for me, but no one else would use it and I'd have to use all three tons myself. :)

Olive oil soap is great stuff...

I used castile soap in the lab at high school for years without knowing what it meant -- it's olive oil soap. Don't know if it has to be 100% olive oil though. I'll let you know how the next batch turns out. I'll probably even be able to give you folks some.

No, I see durham food's point: if we're doing Fight Club, we can make soap from human fat.
Yes, I realize suddenly we can do that on Facebook...I cringed today when SOMEONE decided that it's a great thing to use as a superlative something like, "Will get her friends to grab her ass" even though MOST OF THE FOLKS ON HER FACEBOOK ARE HER STUDENTS!!!! The guys will be thrilled to know that, and suddenly as of tomorrow or so I predict tons of male students trying to make friends with me...thanks, Joe ;)

Victory is mine! That's a few in a row wherein I got the random "you're not a spammer" code right on the first time! I SO ROCK!

I think that the colors I chose for this blog happened to make the CAPTCHAs easier to read. Not sure.
