off to bed, off to bed
pull the sheets over your head
say good night, say good night
do not let the bedbugs bite
to your room, to your room
stop with all the doom and gloom
womb to tomb, womb to tomb
atom bombs go boom boom boom.

Sometimes you just have to say WTF. Baby.

Relief

It's 4 pm and only 80 degrees at the airport.  It got down to 68 sometime this morning, and actually felt nice when I walked outside about 9:30.  The low temperature this morning hasn't been that low since 24 July.  Yesterday, the high was 80.  Daytime maximums haven't been this low since one oddly comfortable day in Early July; before that, mid-June -- technically spring at that point.  According to the Weather Underground, we're on the downslope now for summer temperatures, but October still seems a long ways away.

Hot as hell days still to come
Fall is far away.
