It's N.C. sales tax holiday weekend...

... which may not mean so much, as only some items are exempt.  But you should probably take advantage of it if you can, especially since our taxes are going to be going up anyway.  :(  The big surprise is that textbooks (PDF alert) are exempt.  Computers are the big one, with an upper limit of $3,500.00, plus computer accessories with a lower limit.  The first link above has links to multiple PDFs from the North Carolina Department of Revenue.  Happy reading, or something.  You've got until Sunday night at midnight.

I'd have taken advantage for the sales tax holiday if I'd had any money to begin with...which I don't! :)
