Looking for things to do over the next several days? This Friday (17 June 2005) try going to The Scrap Exchange for the opening reception for "Paintings for Easy Listeners," an exhibition of works by Mark Cunningham. The exhibition is open from 15 June to 11 July, according to the Scrap Exchange's calendar. Mark's miniature mixed media montages will be for sale for $20 apiece -- all 100 of them. It's art for the masses! Mark is also a bartender at Satisfaction -- go by and annoy him, then tip him a lot. :) BTW, Mark's show is part of this month's Downtown Durham Culture Crawl.
Then, on 23 June 2005, Henry McIntosh will be playing at The Cave in Chapel Hill. Henry has the early show, which should start about 7:30 pm. That's a Thursday, BTW. I'm going to be out of town, so I need to make up for that by having other people show up. :) Henry doesn't have the show listed yet on his calendar, so you're getting the jump on everyone else right here.
