White Xmas, just 2 weeks late

It's snowing here in Durham. We get an accumulation of snow maybe once a year, so it's nice when it happens. The original forecast was for 1/4 to 1 inch, then 1 to 1 1/2 inches, then 2 to 3 inches. We'll see where it stops. My employer has yet to declare a severe weather day, but this is definitely enough around here to make people drive like wackos and clear the grocery stores of bread and milk.

National Weather Service says 3 inches at RDU airport. And as a special gift, some fuckhead vandalized my car during the snow.

Closed the shop for three days. Once upon a time we'd have determinedly opened and made $17. Instead I sat and home, blogged and hoped the power would stay on. As it, thankfully, did.
