Thanks for the list, but why is Mad Hatter's listed as sometimes?

Last time I was in there, they were forbidding people to bring in laptops during some parts of the day: I think they just had too many people coming in, parking, and keeping out paying customers. But I haven't been in in a while, so maybe they changed it. I'll check.

Haven't been there in months, but for a while at least, they had signs on the tables saying that laptop use was prohibited on weekends during the breakfast/brunch rush hours.
Don't know if it counts as an "eatery," but Broad St. Cafe has free wireless.

Tyler's and other American Tobacco restaurants have access to the American Tobacco public network. (About half of the seats at Mellow Mushroom get a signal.)
If you don't mind listing chains, Panera Bread has free public wireless. That and their house hazelnut coffee get them my business.
Would it be safe to assume that fee-based wireless, like at Starbuckses, doesn't count? (I wouldn't list them.)

The wireless at Mad Hatter's doesn't work half the time...

LBR: I remembered Broad Street Cafe when I was in bed last night. :) It's in. Thanks.
Matt: ATC added; thanks for reminding me. And I'll add fee-based places and indicate such. For some reason, I've never tried to use $tarbuck$'s wireless. I guess for chains, if I knew all the locations had it, I could add one entry for all locations. But some of the chains might be hard to track down and verify. Like McDonald's. Yuck.
What about those Starbucks that are just little freestanding kiosks, like the ones inside Kroger at North Point? Do those have wireless? I don't really feel like toting my laptop to the grocery store to check....

I don't know; I've always been too cheap to try. =)
