The Reliable Cheese Company has a sign up on the door of their new digs at 405 East Chapel Hill Street, saying they'll be open for business tomorrow, 16 June 2011.  Their space is just down from Rue Cler.  I guess that means you can soon pick up a loaf at Rue Cler, get cheese just down the street, and scarf them together.  :)

I'm sorry I'm also late with this incredibly important announcement:  Apparently, McDonald's in Hong Kong does weddings.  I'm not married, so what do I know — maybe a McWedding would be better than an Elvis-themed wedding in Las Vegas.  It does look cheaper then the average wedding ceremony.  And with the money you save, you could go to McDonald's in Sweden and play Pong for food.  

Triangle Restaurant Week

For some reason, I feel obligated to mention that Triangle Restaurant Week started Monday & runs through the 12th of June (yes, we already had one this year: it's apparently semi-annual now).  Check with individual restaurants for participation and details.  

Pizza Night At Scratch

Scratch now has a bi-weekly pizza night from 5 to 8 pm.  It seems to be on alternating Wednesdays, including tonight, but you might want to check with them to make sure you have the right night.  It's delicious.  :)
